Tonja Morrell named Miss South Carolina for America Strong 2025

On Saturday, April 5, 2025, Tonja Morrell of Rock Hill, SC former Miss York County, won the state title of Miss South Carolina for America Strong and the opportunity to represent her state at the globally live-streamed National pageant, Miss for America Strong competition in August 2025 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Tonja Morrell has resided in the Carolinas for over thirty years.  She is a top-producing real estate agent in North and South Carolina, a catalyst speaker, and a caring church leader.  She is the mom to three amazing women who inspired her in 2018 to create G.R.O.W with Tonja, the acronym derived from Girls Realizing Our Worth, which offers small group and retreat programs.  In that inaugural year, G.R.O.W with Tonja had its first group of eighth-grade mentorees, who witnessed the amazing aspects of this program that empowers and inspires women to never settle and live life to the fullest.  Through her story of taking a leap of faith to start over four years ago to now becoming Miss South Carolina for America Strong, Tonja understands her worth, and she wants you, as well.  Tonja's goal is for every young girl and woman to understand their value in this world.
