Ruby Durham

Your 2022 Miss North Carolina for America Strong is Ruby Durham.  Ruby currently lives in Charlotte, North Carolina where she works at WCNC Charlotte TV.  Ruby, an Emmy-nominated journalist, has been in the tv business for nearly 7 years.  Ruby completed her college degree at Coastal Carolina University in Conway, SC where she studied Broadcast Journalism as a D1 Track and Field Athlete.

Her platform is breast cancer awareness. Ruby took this mission under her wing after losing her mom to the disease at a young age.  Outside of work Ruby loves to eat, swim, design, and organize.
