Havalla Muirhead named Miss North Carolina for America Strong 2026.

I am a fun, loving of all people, miracle by birth, only child.  My parents were told they would never be able to have children, as they had four miscarriages prior to me and miraculously I was born, with a congenital heart defect and named after the land of precious gifts and gems-Genesis 2:11 in the Bible. 
I love anything creative! An artist of oil/acrylic/watercolor & mixed media; I enjoy visiting art museums.  Majored in Interior design, fashion design & Spanish.  I have held retail customer service executive management and leadership positions for 30 plus years of my career.  

Here with purpose I come to serve!  For the past 13 plus years I have been working F/T & holding F/T caregiver responsibilities to my Vietnam Veteran Marine Engineer Father as I hold the powers that be.  Firsthand I have witnessed the need for improved technology within the Veterans systems as many are antiquated allowing for paperwork errors & not having adequate protections in place for avoiding transfers of power.  Better and improved care can be given as they deserve the best for their health & finances along with easier more user friendly navigation within the systems making their futures greater. There are needs for better & improved housing accommodations & for the building of new care facilities and homes for our Veterans as currently there are waiting lists 5 years long just to see if you might be able to get into one. I would like to bring this to legislation bring an advocate for Veterans without voices and use my voice as speaker and lobbyist for Our Heroes-Our Veterans-Advocating For Their Future!  Our Heroes Deserve the Best! They built our beautiful USA and I will continue to help serve them for their selfless sacrifice in which they served and by my supporting, advocating & lobbying for them help to make our VA systems improved.
