Angela Simmons-Morgan

Mrs. Angela Simmons-Morgan named Mrs. North Carolina American.

Angela is a proud Army wife of 22 years to her husband Todd, and together they share five children who inspire her daily. An educator at heart, Angela holds two Master’s degrees in English and Education and is currently pursuing a third Master’s degree in Strategic Communications. She believes in the power of storytelling through writing, social media, and public platform to share real moments that help others feel seen, understood, and valued. Through her community initiative, EmpowerED Community, and her ongoing work with United Way, Angela highlights the importance of service, connection, and neighbors helping neighbors.
